Colo Vale

Colo Vale is home to the Koala and many special plants. It is one of the northern locaitons that connects to the Great Western Wildlife Corridor and the important East-West connection to the Upper Nepean State Conservation Area (high conservation value water catchment land).

I'm wondering whether A eximia (Forest Ghost moth) is not the more likely ID given its strongly south eastern distribution evident on the ALA and on LBH and these images which show specimens with the two isolated black dots with white centres, presumably the female also. see here;-

A. blackburni apparently (on ALA map evidence) has a more 'dry country' distribution ie western Victoria and in South Australia.

I am certain that the ID by CarbonAI is not correct. The glider was much too big to be Petaurus notatus. Other greater gliders have been seen in the immediate area over the years but too high in the eucalypts for me to photograph.
