Yes, we can help you bulk import any existing records, sightings or observations you may have recorded on other platforms, see our Import sightings page for more.
Records that are bulk imported into NatureMapr will be re-identified through our expert moderator workflow to ensure that the data meets the standards required by our downstream data partners.
To ensure that your photo contains the appropriate geodata upload them to this EXIF viewer.
The Timeline feature is a simple tool used for observing the same species (usually a flora species), overtime. It automatically links sightings of the same species within the approximate GPS location (25m tolerance), that is you do not need to link sightings. The time periods between sightings can be monthly or yearly. Sightings with the timeline feature are indicated by a clock face symbol, for example this Eucalyptus mellidora sighting.
The Flowering Phenology feature is a chart based off the calander year, used to estimate the month when a species of flora will be in flower, based on previously uploaded sightings of said species. The chart can be found on individual sighting pages or on the species sighting list of any flowering flora, for example this Acacia acinacea sighting list. This feature does account for variations in flowering time due to localised climatic conditions.
By definition flowering phenology is the timing of flowering events related to seasonal climatic changes.
