Resin Bees

Most of the Resin Bee species appear in the Australian Faunal Directory as Megachile (unplaced), and the Resin Bee subgenera are being revised. 

The subgenera of Resin Bees that could appear in Canberra are:

Austrochile, Callomegachile, Hackeriapis, Rhodomegachile, Schizomegachile, Thaumatosoma, with a significant group of unplaced.

Species in a couple of other subgenera have been found only in Northern Australia.
