Tiliqua nigrolutea (Blotched Blue-tongue)

Common name: Blotched Blue-tongue.

SVL 25-30cm. Total length 40-50cm

Blotched Blue-tongue is one of eight blue-tongue species (Tiliqua) found in Australia and Indonesia. Tiliqua belong to the Egernia Group of skinks. Three species of blue-tongue are found in the Canberra region.

Distribution: The Blotched Blue-tongued Skink is cold adapted being found at higher altitudes.
