Yes, I agree. Looking at Moths of Victoria (Part 9) supporting disc for the Proteuxoa spp. it looks a good match for the identifying features the authors outline for the species:-
'prominent white orbicular spot; large buff-coloured reniform mark with a long tail; additional small white spot near forewing base'. The banded frontal face to the thorax matchedstoo.
The authors also say P. marginalis is known to occur in NSW and the ACT.
