I don't know what species this is, but the colour of the legs and the density of the hair bands make me wonder whether it is a specimen of L. bicingulatum that for some reason has very pale abdominal bands.
Thank you, that’s what it reminded me of because of another one of my sightings identified on iNat as bicingulatum which also has pale bands. I will eventually upload that sighting on here too. I went to the Australian Museum talk yesterday, it was excellent. Thanks! I have quite a few native bee sightings to upload retrospectively when I have some more time.
