User's notes
The bird allowed us to approach quite closely, suggesting it is an aviary escape. It stayed feeding on the ground for a good half hour. I'm used to seeing Superb Parrots in Canberra and around Harden-Murrumburrah. I don't think Joseph Banks and Daniel Solander would have seen one of these in 1770.
